Tier Updates, etc...
Added 2023-03-26 19:36:58 +0000 UTCI have revised the patron tiers to clarify the differences and benefits as well as added some perks.
The biggest change is that new members at the 1$ tier will no longer be entitled to use premium features which require a certificate. Given that the small Sandboxie certificate costs 20€/year and is only valid for Sandboxie, while the patrons once are valid also for other software (in the making), this change seams overdue.
Already active patrons on the 1$ (Just Thanks) tier will keep access to premium features, but are encouraged to move up to one of the higher tiers, which will be rewarded by getting the benefits of the next higher tier, for example when you move to the 5$ (Regular Support) tier you will get access to the preview builds of Sandboxie, which normally is only available starting with the 10$ (Great Support) tier, and that currently includes the following private features:
· Ability to force sandboxed programs to use preset Socks 5 Proxies
· DNS query logging filtering and redirection
· Host image integrity protection
· Support for EFS
· Document break out (in an upcoming build)
· USB Drive sandboxing (in an upcoming build)
Github bug issues and bug reports of patrons will be marked with a new label to be treated with elevated priority, for that the Github username must be provided via PM.
And a new support option has been added to the higher tiers, patrons on these are now entitled to direct support over zoom/skype/or similar software.
