2024-10-20 21:18:14 +0000 UTCAn interesting foreshadowing moment fans have talked about (but also itโs not totally proven) is that when Aizen defected from the Soul Society, as heโs rising up into the Garganta he addresses Ukitake and says something like โFrom the beginning, no one has ever stood at the top. Neither you, nor me, nor the gods. I alone will stand at the topโ. Fans think itโs interesting that he addressed Ukitake and implied he could stand at the top. As though he knew about Mimihagi and the connection to the Soul King.

Cool seeing flashback of Ukitake and Shunsui's friendship and how certain captains and lieutenants are very close with each other, everybody especially seems to love Ukitake.
