Protip: make sure you know what taxes/fees you need to be responsible for throughout the year so you don't forget to pay them. Learned from amount of late fees I incurred the 1st year I owned my condo. Like, no one told me my state had a sewage use fee due on Jan 1st and I didn't know about it until May of that year when the put a Lien on it. So that's my advice for you lol
