2024-01-30 16:45:40 +0000 UTCKnowing the Netflix show is adapting the Manga you could watch the next 2 arcs only 1 is in the Manga the other isn't so won't be in the Netflix show. These 2 arcs finish the entire East Blue Saga as it's called. Only issue is episode 1 of season 2 will adapt the first of 2 arcs but it's like 20 extra episodes for you guys to watch. The movies are all not Manga also so could watch some of those. :)

These continue to be great, and I can't wait until you do find out more about Shanks, and Buggy for that matter, y'all aren't ready for it!

I think there are enough differences in the way they adapt the story that there will still be plenty of surprises when season 2 of the live action rolls around and weβll get to enjoy watching more of One Piece with you!

Honestly in my option you should just keep going. you with just appreciate the live action from the side of the anime fan then. It sure didn't take anything away from the live action for me.

But I stand corrected. Kiss is more emotional than me when I first watched one piece. Im a guy who has a loose tear ducts, so I get emotional on this anime. Surprisingly, while watching the LA, I didnβt tear up at all. Maybe I only get emotional with anime. Now I canβt wait for future reactions.

After that, I think it will be hard to not get spoiled... Either way, I wish you an awesome journey with the emotional rollercoaster this story is ^^

2024-01-11 22:03:05 +0000 UTCIt's such a unique take watching the Live Action first and already being familiar with these characters and story beats and then watching the anime and getting an expanded intro and story. You're kind of in a place where you already love it, which is extremely interesting! Before the live action, you'd just start with these random people and not already have that emotional investment so I think the animation style and comedy would put some off a bit. So pleased you're going on to the anime after the LA, you are going to laugh and cry a lot!

Also can't wait for you to get past where the live action ended. This first saga, while nostalgic, is nothing compared to some of the future events and storylines, you're in for a wild ride.

2024-01-11 15:03:39 +0000 UTCThe thing that the live-action version didn't do is heights for its characters. In this show many of them are over six feet tall, and some even exceed ten feet. For example Shanks height is 199cm or about 6'6. That's why some characters look big.
