Katherine is so complex she says she looks out for herself always no matter what the consequence but she still does get emotional at the end we see how she missed her family. But yeah she's a smart cookie how she got herself all the components so to speak to break the curse- Caroline bonnie and Tyler and ofcourse elena. Caroline and Stefan's friendship is really cute I love how he said Caroline reminds him of Lexi. Another very important thing to notice here is we are introduced and shown here that an original can compel a vampire that's fascinating...

Witch is gender-neutral, and it doesn't change between those who do light magic and those who do dark magic if the lore in a fictional world has that distinction. Warlock is a derogatory term that means "from the devil" or monster, a sorcerer. Too many series, though, use warlock as a term for male witch, and yes, it's an irritation for me, LOL. Any self-respecting witch would never call themselves a warlock. It's actually why the movie Warlock was called that; the witch (played by Julian Sands) was called a warlock as a slur because he was evil. However, he called himself a witch. Warlock is an older movie, but I recommend it. Especially now that Julian Sands' remains were found; he had been missing for several months, on a hike I think. He was an amazing actor, anything from A Room to a View, to Warlock, to Arachnophobia, to Naked Lunch...R.I.P.

Well, Elijah *did* plop a $100 bill into the busker's case, so taking a few quarters isn't as bad as if hey gave him no money at all. 😛 I've been re-watching Dark Shadows (original 1960s Gothic soap opera), and I'm still finding some resemblance between the DS Carolyn and TVD Caroline. I really wonder if there was some influence there.
