Damon was impulsive in calling Katherine- yes but we can't deny Stefan and elena are also at fault I mean how would Katherine not find out they were too obvious. None the less Katherine got a upper hand in this one. I love Caroline's conversation with her mom that was so touching, Liz is right Caroline has indeed become more mature and confident after becoming a vampire. I loved how Bonnie is slowly easing upto Caroline and somewhat to damon as well, the way he thanked her and the fun banter they have always is cute to watch.

This season for me has always been the best one. As each episode is meaning something in their lives. The twists and turns you have on this show are great. Hope you enjoy this season as much as I am enjoying reliving me watching from your reactions.

Stefan: "You shouldn't be here."
Elena: "I know, but I am."
Elena in a nutshell lmaooo
Was it bad that I was smiling ear to ear during the Jenna stabbing? Love Jenna but man, Katherine is such a queen!!

I know I'm likely in the minority when it comes to Elena, and maybe even being a little ridiculous to let the character bug me so much on a series that centers around her. 😄 It's a "me" problem.

Damon....is an idiot. A handsome, sometimes charming, often obnoxious, reckless, impulsive idiot. I love the character, of course. I've always preferred the trope of the cruel vampire or the cruel-but-conflicted vampire far more than some romanticized soft version; Twilight, I'm looking at you, sorry excuse for a vampire flick, LOL.
Caroline is really becoming a fascinating character, isn't she? This is the season she became one of my favorites. They took the shallow, self-absorbed queen bee type and gave her some intriguing layers and depth.
Poor Mason. But he really did have to go. He had Damon's impulsiveness but without any finesse, or ability to bounce back.
Elena. Sigh. I know she is the primary female lead, where everything centers around her, but with every watching of this show (this is my 3rd time), I like the character less and less. It irks me how she forces herself into every scenario, every conversation, everything. Maybe because it feels like over-saturation of Elenadom, the Queendom of Elena, especially with Katherine being played by the same actor. I prefer to have focus on different people at different times, much like the way Buffy was written, and while that is a part of Vampire Diaries, it still feels like it's The Elena Show. She's kind of....dull. I would love far more focus on Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, even Tyler, because I find their stories more compelling. Just my little gripe. Doesn't stop me from enjoying the series. 😁
