I agree with you the Damon- Mason interactions this episode was too funny it was the best part for me 😂 Ian specially killed his part he is naturally funny. This episode may seem a little slow but at the same time it's so interesting and also provides a fascinating little back story to Katherine- Stefan- Damon/ the Lockwoods back in the 1860s. I always thought about this - yes it seems Mason is here to just support his family but him looking for the same moonstone which we see George Lockwood was looking for, is all very suspicious - so yes though Damon acted impulsively towards Mason here we can't ignore the fact that he is upto something....

I'm especially invested in Caroline's new un-life and seeing how it unfolds, as well as the secrets that Tyler is uncovering and how that may play into the series in the future.
