Omg!! Hello, Hi! haha.. little late but very excited. i've been watching your reactions since forever, stuff like, Harry Potter, MCU, Squid Games, and many more. then i lost your channel somehow but i finally found it. genuinely can not believe you started my favorite show ever. so looking forward to every single episode and i'll be here, especially on Patreon till the very end. a little piece of advice, even tho i'm sure people here are pretty cool judging by the comments alone. it tends to get a little toxic in this TVDU fandom, choosing between who you like and what you ship and all that. i advice you nothing but sticking to what you and you only like throughout the whole show and being objective towards every character. they all, even the one-episode characters are very well written. And yeah, I am not even sure if I mentioned it during Stranger Things because of course Running Up That Hill has now become iconic with Kate Bush but I actually first heard Placebo during a WrestleMania promo when I was super into it back in the day

Vicky was in the pilot epiode of Lucifer (she was the wife of the actor who cheated on her with the victim), and Caroline was young Dean's girlfriend in "After School Special" in season 4

This series was written by Kevin Williamson who did Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Dawson’s Creek, the guy is a master at story beats and plot twists, you’re in for a good time! The other writer on the show Julie Plec was a massive Buffy fan so be on the look out for the parallels! The music in this series is beyond phenomenal, love that you knew Placebo’s superior version of Running up that Hill! Can’t wait to follow along for this journey!

Like Kate said above, the first couple episodes can have some cringe parts but it honestly just gets better as you go, the show is so binge-able. And same for me, that version of "running up that hill' was the first time I had ever heard that song and it was from this episode of tvd lol so when I heard it in stranger things my mind went "wait it's the song from tvd" 😂. I love how they do the vampire effects in this show, I love the eyes darkening and the veins, it's more realistic to me and I like it most out of all the vampire tv\movies I've seen. Also this show is based off a book series from the early 90s, I've never really read them so it's fairly loosely based as far as I know. Not much more to say yet, so I'm excited for more!!

I'm happy you're intrigued by it and already have feelings about certain characters. I hope your fiancée hasn't told you too much about it!
