There's a saying I have. Nothing is impossible. Maybe there could be a way to bring back Azazel, maybe not.

2023-06-03 00:05:26 +0000 UTCWhy would Azazel come back? He's dead. It's different for demons and angels. Castiel's the exception, since God brought him back. Yes, Frederic Lehne is great, but there's no reason to bring him back, unless it's in a dream or hallucination - like here. Don't forget that Jensen directs episode 4. It's his first time directing and it's a fantastic episode. I think both Bobby and Sam were jerks for not at least letting Dean know that Sam is no longer suffering in Hell. They don't have to tell Dean where he's at, but at least put him out of his anguish about his brother's fate. i don't get ANYONE keeping Dean out of the loop, and that includes Samuel too.

Bobby's line about Dean 'not getting his guts ripped out at age 30' hits harder given it's only been a few weeks since you saw a main character of a show die violently at age 30, leaving behind a grieving father.
