2023-06-02 00:01:46 +0000 UTCThe original 5-year plan was to have both Dean & Sam say "yes" and both jump into the pit. When the show got renewed, they brought back Adam and Lisa. Now we have more questions to set up S6. How did Sam come back so soon? Why? By whom? Is it really Sam? Where did Chuck go? Why doesn't Dean see Bobby for some time? Did God bring back Cas? S6 might seem disjointed when you watch it, but be patient it all comes together by the end of the season. The first time I watched it, I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but then re-watching it with other reactors, made me realize how brilliantly they pull it together. There are some really great episodes in S6. Jensen also directs his first episode - Ep 5.

The speeding up memory montage with the wind blowing really reminds me of the similar montage at the beginning of episode 5x22 of that other show you mentioned.
