I like the writing choice to follow up the previous happy episode with this sad one. It's a reminder that both happy and sad are valid emotions. I also like how it's inferrable that Prue's grief for her mom has been brought to the surface by having been with her briefly at the wedding. You may remember the bald Seeker demon from his role in another show as a Knight of Byzantium.
