2023-04-20 15:03:10 +0000 UTCEventually, Sam and Castiel become close friends (I don't think that's too spoilery), which I love, but I also found it interesting that early on, there seemed to be a bit of hostility between them. I think Cas in some ways couldn't stop seeing Sam as "the boy with the demon blood" and Sam felt it and resented it, naturally. You can see it in some of their interactions in this ep and earlier ones.
