If that's something you'd like to experiment with, I'd support it. Although I would be a bit wary of the idea that binging might make some stuff not sink in as well.

As someone else once said, 'we are all different people, all through our lives'. I'm curious about the moments when you started to have an idea about who Hyde was before it was revealed, but then were shocked when it was, so what was your first idea? I'm not sure what you mean by trial shtick (is it the trial run of doing a double episode? If so I think it'll work for two-parters, as long as you don't mind being told what's a two-parter in advance).
