God, they NAILED the Clickers. Yeah, that's what they're called for obvious reasons. They do indeed use sound. Echo location to be specific and they are horrifying. Also, that change making them into a hivemind that can detect you even in a completely different location instead of just releasing spores is brilliant...and horrifying.
