I also think John sedated himself, he mentioned with the victim with the drills pointed at his head when the detectives almost got him that he needed stronger sedatives since he woke up before he arrived back

2022-11-18 09:37:43 +0000 UTCYeah the first 2 Saws are the best Saw's though the whole franchise has a softspot in my heart, that twist at the end of the first one cemented my love of James Won and his directing, I believe he was only 17/18 when he made this first movie. I especially love that main saw theme playing at the end, was my fav instrumentals in my teen years at the time along with the Doctor Who doomsday theme and also them theme for 28 Weeks Later which is also a good horror/thriller movie

2022-11-18 09:27:47 +0000 UTCWhile the later entries in the franchise definitely went downhill (honestly like most long running horror/slasher franchises do), this first one is still fantastic. Especially the twist at the end that Zepp was just another victim of Jigsaw being forced to play the game.
