There’s one episode in Season 6 that I think is much worse than this but on the whole - yeah, probably second least favourite of the whole show.

2023-11-26 13:00:34 +0000 UTCThere’s a lot of things I don’t like about this episode but on top of it all it’s gotta be that Gabrielle never has a fucking clue what’s happened to her own tribe while off with Xena. She’s the rightful fucking Amazon Queen and she’s just absent all the time. Yeah, of course I want her to be with Xena but they could be a little more realistic about it. She didn’t even know Amarice died.

And I think this ep is even worse than previous one which means this ep is the worst episode of the series for me. The Amazon flashbacks are actually just clips of a cancelled plot of a different series called 'Amazon High' which was never aired. This makes the episode so disjointed. There is also a big flaw in the plot. Gabrielle is a Greek Amazon not a Northern Amazon. She has no right to give the right of caste to Eve in this tribe. Amarice was killed offscreen because the actress was cast for another show.
