It's been a few months since I've been a patron. Your Mystery Spot tweet kind of prompted me to watch your videos again, and hey, a Christmas episode at Christmas time... perfect lol. I also came back from a Supernatural convention last week. I got a photo with Jared and Jensen (and others, most of them you've not met yet). I got to sit in the car and see Jensen perform live with his band (he's such a talented person)... so my head is in Supernatural and your reactions are perfect to watch late at night - I'm very jet lagged still lol.

The eggnog was supposed to be just for set/non-alcoholic but he filled it with mostly alcohol and a little alcohol without warning Jensen, soooo. That's why he reacted so well to them sips pft. As for this episode, what can you say? Colin Ford ( Young Sam ) is amazinggg. The best young!Sam imo -- you'll see him more in future flashback episodes as he ages, and even at such a young age he pulled off a rather serious performance. This episode is just a full-rounder, amazing, hilarious, feelsy without going over the top. Also! Notice the pagan gods offered "mild weather" in exchange for sacrifices which was why it wouldn't snow and then by the end of the episode, it was snowing. ON BABY. Our third main character. I love Dean for his efforts as a child but in a sad way, it ostracized Sam since he wasn't an idiot. He probably knew years and years ago that something was off. And I can imagine he read dad's journal carefully so he wasn't caught holding onto it for long. So he probably kept it pent inside so much. It's really sad for them both.
