If you react to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I again strongly recommend following that up with the BBC adaptation of The Silver Chair from 1990. It's a shame the people who made these films didn't get around to that one, or the other 3, including my favourite book in the series, The Magician's Nephew. I'm really hoping the supposed upcoming Netflix version does them justice at last. Also: the statement that Peter and Susan will not return to Narnia after this is from the book as well, as you speculated, so it's not just about the actors. Speaking of actors, did you recognise Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) as Trumpkin (the 'Dear Little Friend'), or Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick) as Nikabrik?
