Bag of Bones: Call for Questions!

Comments

No idea if it's too late or not but I'd just like to ask is there a world culture or folklore you'd like to see inspire a plot of a King book? Ala the Micmac influence in Pet Sematary. Much love to you all.

Conor Doyle

yeah we gotta do a whole ep dedicated to this one

The Losers' Club

Where do you draw the line between King books you view as a success and those you view as a failure? Which do you consider the worst of the successes and the best of the failures?

Brandon Moore

If you could have any King novel or short story as a video game, what would it be? Which console would it be released for? (any gaming console from any era or PC) What type of game would it be? Fps? Puzzle solving? Would there be multiplayer? How about Sidequests, items, bosses, dungeons, all that stuff? (Bonus question: what would be the absolute worst king story to turn into a video game and what would that be like?)

Ari Finkel

Design a Stephen King cocktail. What's it called? What are the ingredients? What does it taste like? When is it best enjoyed?

Adam Dietz

Which horror movie franchise would you most want to see king take a stab at penning a script? And make a cameo.

Michael Phillips

Which Stephen king villain would you like as your personal henchman? Monsters/demons are also acceptable.

Patrick Voss

What are your all-time favorite and least favorite king book covers?

Jay Jasinski

Question specifically for the members of TLC hosting this ep; Of all the previous book episodes that you WEREN’T on, which is the one you wish you had been involved in and why?

Jonathan Agner

Do you think we've seen the last of Randall Flagg?

Steve Reynolds

What King “backstories” would you want to see explored more - Will and Mike Hanlon’s research into Derry, the scrapbook in the Overlook, Mike Enslin’s research into the Dolphin Hotel? Others?

Erin Baumgartner

Think of your favorite King book. Is there a memory/moment in time/time of your life attached to the first time you read it? Or, if not your favorite book, another book (even non-King) with the same question attached.

Michael Feeney

I recently read, and loved, Gothic by Philip Fracassi which was the author’s ode to early Stephen King. What are some other books from the last 10 years or so that you feel best evoke the spirit of King (not from Joe Hill)?

Matt Morris

Which King character would you want to share a slice of pound cake with the most? Literally and innuendo-ly?

Erin Gallagher

Has any King character ever said anything funny enough to realistically elicit a response where the other character would laugh so hard that they fell over, their stomach hurt, and they cried tears of hilarity?

Brett Littman

Yes!! So glad this got asked!!!

Jeff Clutterbuck

In the same vein as classic crossovers like Freddy Vs. Jason, Alien Vs. Predator and Magnum PI vs Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote (OK, they teamed up, not fought) what would be the ultimate battle between a Losers Club / Stephen King villain and a big bad from the Halloweenies Podcast? Personally, I'm going for Frank Dodd vs. David from Prometheus. But what do the Losers think? PS - any Losers Club bookmarks for Barrens OG's who didn't get one?

Damien Kiely

Wow! A Bag Of Bones Meets Firestarters question.

Sean Gerace

(Feel free to do an entire episode on these type of questions) You’ve heard of fuck, marry, kill, well let’s try publish, stow, and burn. Out of these three King novels which one would you publish, stow away in a trunk, and finally, burn! Salem’s Lot, The Shining, The Dead Zone (Personally I would publish Salem’s Lot, stow The Shining, and yes Mike, burn The Dead Zone!)

Cole Meyer

Since it’s an election year, who would you rather have run the country: Big Jim Rennie from UtD, Greg Stillson from The Dead Zone, or Buster Keeton from Needful Things

Cole Meyer

If you had the power to make it happen, what would be your dream Stephen King adaptation. It doesn’t matter if it’s a remake, or something that’s never been made before. And, most importantly, who do you want to write, direct, and star in it? And, if you want to go further, who would you pick to be the composer, cinematographer, etc?

Sean Gerace

Let’s say the tragedy at the prom in Carrie didn’t happen, and Carrie went on to somehow become a relatively normal person. What other King character would you most like for her to meet and become friends with?

Bryant Burnette

I’ve been getting back into physical media lately and I would love to ask the Losers- If you could pick one King movie adaptation to get a deluxe Criterion 4K blu ray, which movie would it be, what special features would you want included, and what would the cover design be? Thanks for being great!

Sean Price

What is the best moment or piece of writing that lives in a “bad” King book?

Luke

Which plot to a King book, if you described it to someone, sounds the most as if it was created by an AI?

Jeff Clutterbuck
