As I am packing up to leave tomorrow evening, Iโm doing my stretches also and look over and my tripod cat, Burton is laying on her back doing her stretches just like me, it is the cutest thing ever. She fell asleep like that and sheโs been doing this a lot lately. I hear the one cats sleep on their back, it means that they were extremely content they feel safe and calm. So I am happy that she feels so safe and calm lately especially after such a traumatic time losing her leg. She still has staples in her leg and her wound still has superglue on the outside of it but she is 100%, sheโs in a great headspace, I havenโt taken her to the doctor to have her staples taken out because, quite honestly, she doesnโt need the trauma. Sheโs getting by just fine as she is. My friend Tiffany is going to come over and help me remove her staples because Tiffany is a vet tech. You might know my friend Tiffany through her vintage costumes, sheโs also very very good with animals! Iโm lucky to have her around. As a matter fact, I donโt know if Burton would have survived her recovery if it wasnโt for Tiffany and her nonstop help. I feel really blessed that I get to leave home and not have to worry about my animals. Tiffany and her partner are very active in helping us with the animals while we are away, my personal assistant deb is wonderful as well and helps with the animals quite a lot. Itโs great to have more than one person to count on though isnโt it?
I was trying to take only one suitcase with me this time because theyโre so goddamn heavy. What do you think? Do you think Iโm going to need to pack another suitcase?๐

As a Cat Daddy, I have a sweet spot for Torties, they are attitude incarnate and when they give you love, they do it without restrain! My tortie atm is snoozing on the couch!

Jayne has always been appreciative of belly rubs and Marilyn tolerates them well, so thatโs about the same thing. Addendum: Whatโs your reading material this trip?

My wife couldn't make an overnight trip without taking 3 suitcases, so you'll probably need more than one. Are you going picking this trip or other stuff?
