So Pucci basically fused with the green baby, and since the green baby was made from a piece of Dioโs bone, itโs like pucci fused with Dioโs soul. Thatโs also why he has the joestar mark now since the green baby also had that star on it. In part 4 it was said that Dio was looking for a specific stand and we can assume that it was sportโs maximum stand since he needed to revive the bone. When the bone was revived, it went to the ultra security unit to take the souls of 36 convicts. So this whole thing is basically like alchemy, Pucci created a homunculus which was then fused with Pucci and he got a new stand because he sorta became a new person since he was now fused with other souls. The last stretch of stone ocean is also gonna be seriously insane, itโs honestly one of the best arcs in the entire series so super hyped to see it animated.
