An update we've been meaning to drop for a while, but as we accelerated towards the point at which we can get a JKO build out to the public, time has become something of a scarce resource.

Anyway, this update is a good one, not only are there a lot of fixes that have been done for both games (lots of stuff we needed to wrap up before the JKO release among other things), but there's now an updated weapons pack for JKA thanks to our friends Vince Crusty and Elin, and in JKO there's a very fine new saber hilt that replaces the one we were previously including. It is lovely.

Don't expect any major game breaking bugs to be fixed in JKA just yet, we've been concentrating on JKO and whilst JKA has benefitted, the biggies haven't been addressed yet. There are however a number of changes to some cvars to hopefully improve performance a little bit in JKA.

Because of this, we would strongly advise deleting everything from the JK2/base and JK3/base folders that isn't the game's assets, and let JKXR and the Companion App recreate everything they need to, to avoid potential conflict with old version config.

Fix possible crash on JKO/JKA
JKA: Render Special Effects on hand/weapon when force power is activated for protection
Fixed aiming of bowcaster and demp alt fire
Don't send roll to the server, this might be causing gradual roll drift
Hide force power aura when item selector is shown
Fix subtitles rendering; Fix rendering of other centered texts
Turn the stun baton into an "always active" weapon
Disable camera shake when charging a weapon's alt fire
JKA: Some CVAR changes to increase performance
Add help to menu and Updated control scheme picture
