Here’s some behind the scenes for my most recent artwork! Ft. a thumbnail-sketch-to-final progression, along with some detail shots at different stages of my process.

I think my favorite part of clicking through these WIPs is watching both of their abs pop into existence from nothing lolol

That, and seeing the lighting effects come back in. Despite being pretty damn accustomed to my own workflow, this piece tested me a bit in the early transition from a developed sketch with ✨solid vibes✨ (and sketchy lines w/ personality) to flat flat clean lines flat blahhh for a while. That said, I'm glad I took the time to suss out the general lighting beforehand. I'm super pleased with how this one turned out!! (But just because I know my own recipe doesn't mean I don't have neurotic "trust the process" moments here and there anyway.... 😅)
