2024-04-15 20:37:20 +0000 UTCSeventeen was supposed to debut on 2013 but kept getting delayed because of insufficient funds. It was very apparent when they debuted with Adore U. The low-budgeted MV editing and quality, their simple outfit and insufficient equipment. Though they started like that, they quickly gained attention and regarded as one of the best debut on 2015. Even if they were poor, it is not to the point that they were starved or anything. But, it is very true that they started from a very low ground as a small company. Hoshi once said they ate very little in their early days that they didn't even gain weight. However, bit by bit the food they get from the company increased and got more luxurious as they get bigger. Only then they realised that gaining weight was possible lol.

2024-04-15 06:45:18 +0000 UTCI think yet another thing that sets seventeen apart from all of the other kpop groups is weâve seen them since pre-debut, weâve literally seen them come up from being young boys to the men they are today, no one can say their success isnât organic because the green room and 17 project say it allđ„°and you get an idea of how close they were from the very beginning, even at such a young age they clicked so easilyđ„čand itâs not even just them, itâs all the pledis trainees that they grew up with which is so sweet!!

Sometimes they'd show the guys just goofing off and playing around. Sometimes they'd show them preparing for their weekly/monthly performance evaluations, which were also broadcasted. So people literally see every step of the way until they debuted. Any K-pop fan at the time knew Pledis was streaming their boy trainees online. Even The8 watched the streams back in China and that's why he auditioned for Pledis. lol Around that same time, SM also started showing off their SM Rookies boys who end up becoming NCT. They also had their own pre-debut things as well.
