I don't know, but I'm pretty sure if you went back and watched the scene again, you would find that Dawn did attempt to run during the alley scene. It's just that Glory caught her and tossed her back so fast, she never got very far.

Jordan Haddow

I don't think so personally. I'm pretty sure they explained that Glory being so close to the appointed time was what was weakening her separation from Ben. Also, Drucilla knew before hand that Spike was already falling for Buffy and it was part of the reason they broke up. On top of that, if you go all the way back to season 2, where they put back together the judge, he shed some light on Spike's inner workings. The Judge sniffed the air and said he smelled humanity on him. So to begin with, he hasn't been the standard vampire. My thoughts at least.

Jordan Haddow

Not technically. She's fully a human. I'm pretty sure it mentioned that back in season 3 when she lost her power.

Jordan Haddow

Please stop watching the "guest stars" opening credits, LOL....you always get spoiled. Hold your hand up over the lower part of the screen or something.

Christine

Anya was a vengeance demon for a long time but now is 100% a human

Ray D

You asked what was in the box. It contained the information that Giles was giving to the group about how Glory will use the key. I like this episode as well. It’s even better on rewatch when you know what’s coming next.

Vicky N

Anya is human. Shes ex-demon and was human before being a demon. She's 100% human.

Tammy L. Faulkner

I don't know if there's anything to it, but I like the theory, nonetheless.

Steve Quast

I don't know if this is a fan theory or not but after seeing how Glory was changing around Dawn with her being able to feel emotions and stuff I have long thought that it was Dawn who changed Spike. The more she was and is around him the more he seems to start to feel emotions and seems more human. Both react to feeling emotions badly and make stupid choices but still that is what you can kind of expect from beings who aren't use to or understand emotions and feelings. But what if that was some sort of power Dawn had to keep herself safe? The more I rewatch the more it seems so.

Misty

I forgot to say so last episode, but I also agree that the weakest element of this season is the knights. They could be eliminated and the season would be better for it. And Glory definitely deserves better minions (still love Glory, though).

Steve Quast

So Giles didn't say Dawn HAS to die. Only if they start bleeding her and the ritual begins does she has to die. That's what he meant by tight timing.

Reed James

anya isn't a demon anymore. as soon as she lost her necklace in season 3, she lost all her powers and became human. that's why she couldn't see/remember the ben/glory transformation.

cil

Anya is 100% human and all the witches in this show are also human

Calvin Allen

Next season is probably the darkest season. I like it though

Yonnie

Anya doesn’t remember because she’s technically a human now.

Meredith

Yes, obviously, but what kind?

Rafael Lemus

"someone tell her Angel's back" haha that was funny

Brad turner

I i don’t understand how glory got dawn though. Do we suspect some kind of connection between ben and glory?

Mariella Nilsson

Ok I'm on the edge of my seat! Here we go!

Angelina Jackson

Two episodes in a weekend! Yes!!!
