Season 6 for me is the best. It just has soo many great episodes, scenes and story and characters too.

the general consensus in the fandom is that seasons 2 and 3 are the best. i personally prefer season 2 but season 3 is pretty amazing too.

Lol Liz hate is a no go with me. I get what Steve was saying though. I honestly don't have any recall of how I felt about her in this episode the first time I watched this so it's unfair for me to judge his opinion of her since I have seen more seasons than he has. But I love her.

she knew damon was a vamp with powers and so sherrif forbes used the only available tool she had A GUN. obviously its unfortunate jeremy got hit but that wasn't stupid of the sheriff. I disagree heavy on stevens take there. She's dealing with a Vamp, YOU KNOW, a killing monster, something she grew up hating and rightly so. It's completely reasonable that in that type of stand off with adrenaline so high and the pressure and stakes being high as well THAT SHE WOULD SHOOT AND ASK QUESTIONS LATER.

Season 3 is really good. You're right that everyone in the caskets are part of the Original family. Oh the Originals. I haven't watched the last season of that show because I didn't want it to end. So I guess I'll watch it with you when ever you get to that show.

I think Liz was being impulsive because Carol had told her to deal with it or she would get a new sheriff so she was scrambling to deal with Damon. Cannot wait until season 3, they set up the story so good this last episode.

To answer Steven’s earlier comment- Damon wanted to be a vampire because he loved Katherine and wanted to be with her forever. He had no interest in being a vampire. Once he thought Katherine was dead and that she lied to him about promising the same to his brother? Damon was determined to die from the heartbreak of it all. That is when Stefan intervened. Stefan tempted Damon into completing his transition and the heightened rage, grief, and betrayal drove Damon away.

Season 3 is fantastic! The last 3 episodes of season 3 are the best I’ve ever seen in a show it’s that good.

I feel like even though 2.21 had more of the action, 2.22 set the show up for season 3 and left us with a bunch of very intriguing directions like Stefan’s sacrifice for Damon, Katherine escaping Klaus, Klaus now being a hybrid, Caroline finally telling her mom what she is, Jeremy seeing dead people .. trust me though season 3 is the best in every way - that was peak vampire diaries 🙌

Whaat an episode!! Can’t wait for you to get to season 3 it’s definitely one of the best seasons of TVD for sure. You’re gonna be mind blown for sure. Hopefully you start liking Klaus he’s one of the best villains for sure and such an amazing actor. But wait a sec was this episode this weeks episode cause this was posted earlier then usual I was so happy looking at the post thinking there will be another one this week. But really are we gonna start season 3 from this week or next? I’m confused 🤷🏽‍♀️

You said once you loved villains like rumplestilskin and Peter Pan from OUAT you're definitely gonna love klaus, I know he's not you favourite right now but as you continue to watch, I guarantee you'll have a change of heart. He's in my top for favourite villains from a tv show

can’t wait for season 3! and to answer your questions, yes all the others in the coffins are originals as well. They have the same powers as Elijah & are equally powerful since they all were made into vampires on the same day.

Sound was better as reaction continued. I think Elijah didn't really care about the consequences because its like thinking your family is dead all that time and even if Klaus was lying you cant miss the chance to find out for yourself. One of my favorite episodes, but it's really just serves as a prologue for next season

I like the twist of Klaus's blood being the cure. He is a hybrid so it makes sense. It kinda makes the decision not to kill him off have more purpose. If Elijah hadn't saved him, Damon would've died.
