2020-09-16 00:51:46 +0000 UTCYESSSSSSS... One of my favorite episodes. It's a top 5 in the series. And yes, as the class went on more and more people started trickling in. You've got a world class diagnostician doing a guest lecture. That's one of my favorite details. The surgeons didn't fuck up his operation.. Because they waited so long to correctly diagnose him, more and more muscle was dying. He was stubborn and didn't want to amputate, so he's suffering from permanent damage done to his leg.

The class did start with like 10 students and by the time it ended (20 minutes after it was supposed to - nobody even thought of leaving) it was a full house (pun intended). The students looked for House on the break because the class was so interesting.

2020-08-25 12:42:04 +0000 UTCBest damn episode of the series for me. Definitely worth a rewatch after you know the big twist to pick up on some of the subtle clues they put in. And to clarify a point of confusion: he said “one of these patients will be kicked out of the hospital because they were faking it to score narcotics.” This is what happened to House after he self-injected the Demerol. So that is true, i’s just that the story doesn’t end there.

2020-08-25 12:19:21 +0000 UTCI love how even though he was a jerk to them throughout, it was only when they failed to diagnose 'his' case that he snapped and called them useless. They made the same decisions his doctors made and he clearly held that against them.
