The man you've mistaken for Thor's father Odin was, well, not Odin. Odin's actor is Anthony Hopkins. Finn Rourke was played by James Cosmo. But if you've ever seen Braveheart, you've seen him, too. He was a constant by William Wallace's side, the father of his best friend, who got shot in the shoulder with an arrow among other things. He also played a small role in another classic, 1986's Highlander.
