When the show originally aired and you watched this episode, did you totally believe that Chuck's dad would survive given how Shaw survived and that he was shot not 20 feet away from a cellular regeneration chamber? For as long as the show aired I was expecting him to pop up again.

2020-07-25 14:35:26 +0000 UTCFinally. This episode really is perfection. I love every moment of this episode. From the Shaw reveal, to the CIA reveal, to the Ellie reveal, to the Dad's death, to the going off to war reveal. All is amazing. The stakes are higher than ever before. Perfect 10 for me.

2020-07-23 13:54:36 +0000 UTCI'm so happy you loved this episode! Honestly, this is definitely in my top 3 episodes of this show. It's (like you said) perfection. The emotions is incredible and it's so intense. The music, the buildup, the tension. Ahhh, it's glorious. You're definitely not crazy! Season 3 is a lot of Chuck-fans' least favourite season due to the dynamic between Sarah and Chuck in early episodes (even though you seemed to like it and I love the early dynamic). That said, I think Chuck versus the Subway is rated at 9.5 or so on IMDB. So you're not alone at loving this episode. :)
