Azreal is the Angel of Death. Azazel was the yellow eyed demon on ‘Supernatural’.

This is one of my favorite episodes of season 2 and I am so glad you both enjoyed it as well! On a side note I am not sure if something was going on with your mike in this video but at times you would be commenting on things and I couldn’t hear what you were saying even when wearing my headphones. :/

Midnight Sun

he was in john wick 3

Phil LaMarr is such a voice acting legend! I completely forgot he had a cameo in this show. Also, the actor you said looks so familiar has been in so many different movies and shows that you've DEFINITELY seen him in at least one or two. We can already see how killing Uriel has definitely shaken Lucifer. Has he ever actually killed someone? Not sure as he's always been "just a punisher", and on top of that, Uriel was his brother. That has to affect him on more levels than just killing someone for the first time. I was so excited to see this reaction pop up, knowing that was going to happen in the next episode, and was anticipating having to wait, but then you went and uploaded the next reaction right away so that's where I'm headingggg.

He already said that he watched season 1 only, correct me if I'm wrong, and that he didn't remember anything big that happened in the show

God isn't sending the angels to Earth, no one not even the angels have seen or heard from God in thousands of years. But despite that Amenadiel, Uriel and the other angels are trying to act in the way they think God would want them to. That's what Lucifer was talking about in this episode, ealier with his Mom and Maze. And later with Uriel. That no one not even the Angels really know what God truly wants.

I've been meaning to write this comment for a couple of episodes now. Maybe it's just bugging me and I'll get over it. We know that Steven has seen this show before because he's said multiple times that he has so why does it seem like every episode he's making comments as if he has never seen it? I have only seen Lucifer once so I understand not remembering every minor detail. For instance, whilst I did vaguely remember the case of the week, I totally forgot that Cordelia was in the show. For that reason, I've mostly just let these comments go but it seems to be happening every episode and also about major things that are pretty hard to forget about. It would be nice to get some clarity on this because it is incredibly distracting to what is otherwise a great reaction to an enjoyable show.

I love this episode, this one and the next few ones are really a high point of the show. Can't wait for you to watch them! :-)

"He sensed it? He can't know what he looks like." You have a wrong understanding of this. Mom (like God) is a celestial being. This is why she needed a deceased human body. Luci, Amenadiel and Uriel are Angels. But unlike Supernatural with Castiel, they are in their actual bodies. They look like humans except for the wings because both races were created by God. That's why he recognizes Uriel, because he looks like Uriel. The blade in this episode belongs to Azrael, the Angel of death. At some point in the future (not saying when and how) we're going to meet Azrael and this understanding will be important.

This episode is most definitely deserving of a 10!!! I agree with you both, and this is one of the show's best episodes. It's one of my favorites too!! :)
