Replying to 3. I don't think the Michael/money argument is tied to the crew being together or separated. Steven was just pointing out that to him more money doesn't feel like something Michael would prioritize, so why not share it. Steven preferring them together in S1 is a whole different opinion. If they wanna write the crew separate storylines, fine, but then why not split the money if that's the route we're taking?

This episode is a kind of revival of the series for me. I can understand why you don't like many things in this season, some of them quite subjective though, which is ok, some of them just slipped your attention and hence don't make sense to you, but again - I do agree that the second season is a bit weird for me as well, and it can be summed up in the following: the story is actually about brothers, but there were 8 cons out of the prison and writers couldn't just forget about them. They gotta be covered as well, showed here and there, filled up their stories. For me, this season is transitional. And it's more of a Mahone's introduction to the series, because he is quite a character. And despite you not liking him figuring stuff on the spot, it should get better. Hope you'll enjoy him and the series further on. Cheers and looking for the next eps.

Michael's conversation with Mahone as well as Ben's reunion with his family was my favorite parts of the episode. I like how Ben's chick is a ride or die, but I think they handle the storyline really well going forward. Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the season. As far as your opinion goes Steven, I watch you for you. I love Supernatural but I get you don't like Lisa, I love Doctor Who but I get you don't like Amy, I love Buffy but get you don't like the Angel romance. Continue preaching what you do best bro, maybe you might in hindsight appreciate Season 2 a lot more once you finish it.

I personally loved season 1 and enjoyed the second but it doesn’t bother me that you are honest & offer your own opinions. I hated season 3 and don’t recall what season 4 was. However if you feel that you’re not enjoying the show then maybe it’s just better to stop instead of dragging on, but it seems like you still enjoy certain aspects of it. I’ll keep watching as long as you upload.

your critiques of the season have been valid and i respect that you speak your truth and give your honest opinion, even if its different than the fans' opinions. keep being brutally honest, i appreciate it!

Great episode for me, i loved that scene where michael and mahone talk. As for the everyone is split up this season and you like more when they are together, in season 3 and 4 it goes back to that, and season 4 is almost my favourite one , season 1 just narrowly beats it. So if you can still enjoy the show even if the story is not up to season 1 standards, i would like to continue requesting this show all the way until the end because i think season 4 is pretty good.

Mahone's guesses just don't come out of thin air. He has his whole FBI team researching and bringing shit up, he has the tattoos (although doesn't know the symbolism of each part), he has the hard drive, he has notices whenever a civilian spots someone and reports it. It's not just him in a scene like "this is where they're going". We don't need to see every detail of research and thinking, however we got a lot this episode with him figuring out Gila. If large parts of the episodes were him sitting at a desk crossing shit out and thinking, that would be boring. The show shows enough, like when his team brings up some data, they have their little discussion and eventually Mahone figures it out. That's how it should happen. And on the part about Michael, until THIS episode he has no idea what he was up against. Little clues throughout the season that someone big is after them, but overall he was trying to do his thing while obstacles were being thrown in his way. This episode shows that switch, he realized what the immediate threat was so he took time out of his plan to make sure he knew his enemy. So you can expect some smarter plans, but even then don't expect season 1 maneuvering. The amount of factors that can disrupt Michaels plan are too many.

Ok. I think I figured out my problem with why I dislike your reviews of season 2. 1. You don't pay attention: the hard drive thing, you said they never implied or implied enough that it was a factor in Mahone figuring things out. Even though it was established they went diving for it in the 1st episode of season 2. And there were two key scenes in the Utah story arch in which information he obtains from that hard drive leads him to figuring out they were in Utah. Literally they were major points in the episode. So to say it wasn't implied well enough is not an issue with the writers or the vision. It's that you aren't watching close enough. 2. You say things don't make sense, when what you really mean is, you don't like where they took the story: You like Ben, so you feel him getting screwed over sucks. So you make it about Michael's character not making sense doing that, when it makes perfect sense. Back to you not paying attention. In season 1 and season 2, there nothing but tension between Ben and the brothers. Because they dont like each other so Michael not cutting him in because he doesn't trust him makes perfect sense. Something over brought up before bit you didn't address in your recap at the beginning. Michael is the smartest , but him being a fugitive isn't the same as him being locked in a prison I'm which he has blueprints and months of planning. No one knows what's gonna happen when they're over the wall. Michael can only plan so much on the outside. He's not lacking, he's just working under pressure and with no resources. 3. You argue in circles: you claim the plan "should be" to split the money because it's more than they expected and get to "Mexico or wherever". Said it would be smarter for Michael to not create drama and just go off our separate ways so no one gets caught. Earlier you argued what you don't like about this season is that the crew is separated but you just argued them splitting off faster would've been better writing, even though you also complained only 1 episode of them together upset you cause you like them together. 4. In a nutshell: we dont want you to be fake. I sure as hell don't. You not enjoying the season is perfectly understandable. A lot of people splintered off after season 1 cause they really dont care for the conspiracy, just the prison break aspect of things. But the issue lies with you taking jabs at the writing or implying that it's lacking in any way when your real problem is that the story isn't going where you want it to go. Or feel it should go. That being said, glad you seemed to enjoy this episode.
