I agree, but in this instance Jess did nothing wrong. Rory was the one that kissed him. That was all on her.

I love Sookie and Jackson! They're such a great couple. There wedding was really beautiful and so was Sookie's Dress! Asides from that though, both Lorelai and Rory are horrible at relationships! I had a really hard time liking either one of them during this season because of their relationship issues. I couldn't root for either one of them. Season three is better though, so I am looking forward to your reaction to it!

I 100% agree with pretty much all your opinions on this episode, including being glad Rory's getting away for the summer. Time away from both boys would probably do her some good. Jess is still a long way from redeemed in my eyes. I wanted to Luke to be harsher with the conditions of his return, tbh, or at least emphasize HOW MUCH things needed to change from last time. Felt like he welcomed him back too easily to me, as there were like zero consequences to the way he left things.

Thanks for another reaction. So much to say. I am not that invested in Chris so let’s move on to Jess. That scene is one of the most iconic of the show. It was shot so beautifully, watching her turn and him standing there amongst the greenery...gorgeous. And of course he came back for her. You could see his mind ticking over in that scene at the bus station. He hates Stars Hollow, but he thinks she might like him back and he is prepared to go back for her. And then she flings herself at him, says not to say anything , and disappears for the summer. I was actually very surprised of you being supportive of that decision to go to Washington, especially after you said Lorelai was not a great role model when she took off after deciding she didn’t want to marry Max. Same behaviour isn’t it? Anyway I remember watching this back in the day, hanging out for this kiss, and then the torturous wait for season 3. Aarghh...good times! Looking forward to season 3. It is peak Gilmore. I could probably recite it.

Jess and Christopher are both not very lovable characters at the moment, but I love that its very realistic. Rory and Jess' kiss was a long time coming, we knew that was gonna happen at some point. She and Dean are good again but it's obvious that Rory isn't really into it like she used to be. And Lorelai and Christopher have been waiting to be on the same page forever, so they jumped into it as soon as it was a bit shaky with Sherry. Its stupid but it makes sense. Whenever Christopher wanted Lorelai, she always had somebody else in her life and he took this opportunity.This is actually one of my favourite episodes, but I love all the episodes with a lot of cliche drama.

Jess and Christopher both suck and I hate them! I would have much preferred it if this episode focused more on Sookie's and Jackson's wedding so we could have actually seen them get married, as well as on Lorelei working to get closer to Luke again. I want to see them mend their friendship.
