Just yesterday, to break the election tension, I turned to my husband in the kitchen and yelled, "BUTTLICKER, OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER." This episode cracks me up every time.

2020-11-04 18:44:30 +0000 UTCKelly was being spiteful but Michael has never been good at disciplining employees and (anyways) he can totally understand where Kelly is coming from. Jim has blown Mike off multiple times, so often that in order to get him to come over ONE TIME for dinner, Mike had to legit trick him. He understands how Kelly feels so he's not actually going to punish her, but he's trying to make it look like he is cuz Dwight and Jim are watching, so he tells her to cry, but the whole situation is silly so they both laugh. It's kind of a sweet bonding moment for Kelly and Michael, although considering how ridiculous those characters are it's obviously ridiculous.
