It's most often one of the persons being interviewed after the murder but isn't a suspect at all. Oftentimes they do point out someone obvious to follow-up on. It's (almost?) never a person that is in the interrogation room before the 30 minute mark. So for this episode, based on this pattern and me only having started the episode and forgot the episode from when I last saw it, and given the fact that the neck was broken I'd say it was the manager who helped her get clean. If it wasn't for the broken neck, his wife would also be a good guess. She did something to piss him off and he snapped (literally). That's my guess.
