They binged until 5 and then slowed down. But talking to each of them about the show individually, they all seemed to say that this episode is where it finally picks up for them.

It's one of my all-time favorites Dexter eps - 20% because I feel like it picks up a lot of lagging plot threads and starts to run with them, and 80% because of that Dexter-voiced-over scene with Masuka in the background. ðððð The first time I watched that I literally cried, I was laughing so hard, and it's never stopped being funny since. Lololol.

2020-06-28 07:25:14 +0000 UTCI liked this episode. It may have took a bit to get going but I like how it all paid off despite Lumen being super annoying at first. If Dexter hadn't have given her his real name would she have anything to blackmail him with if he told her to "fuck off" and hung up the phone? I get her story but she seems like she's more trouble than she's worth. I want to believe in the moment she had with Dexter at the end but I'm not so sure. Is she someone that needs to be put down in the end because I doubt she survives the rest of the series. Maybe she does, but I'm ready to be surprised. Good episode :)

2020-06-28 06:20:47 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes! A 10 all the way for me. Love the repartee between Dexter and Lumen in the warehouse. So much tension with the Lance situation and Debra about to discover Dex. I love the premise that Dexter realizes he can't avenge Rita's death (Arthur is already dead) but he can help Lumen get vengeance for what happened to her. Perfect! I hope it will grow on you more!
