And after Luke cheated on her with one of her friends, she forgave him and now he's pulling an even worse stunt on her. I mean yes, Ryan could be the bigger man and still be Luke's friend too, but he's still a teenager and he can't help that he's pissed that Luke hurt his girlfriend.

2020-06-27 18:37:22 +0000 UTCSee it’s hard for me because I love Ryan and marissa so it’s difficult to understand where everyone is coming from who doesn’t BUT I do agree this episode was rushed and the whole Caleb and Julie thing is just set up for next season. Also, marissa doesn’t get any lighter storylines so get ready to be upset with her character the whole way through 😂

If you'd have told me Summer would become my favorite character after watching the pilot, I would've said you were crazy, but here we are. I actually enjoy Ryan as a character too...when he's not all about Marissa.

2020-06-27 01:48:10 +0000 UTCHe didn't initially want to beat him up because he slept with Julie. He wanted to because he thought Luke had lied to him when he told him it was over. Ryan had already reassured Marissa, that Luke had ended it. Had Luke been lying just there, Ryan would have every reason to at least hit him once. Not for still seeing Julie, but for lying to him. Once Ryan heard him out, you can see he went right back to assuring Marissa again.
