Literally stopped caring about the whole other police staff though. I had really hoped Doakes would have sided with Dexter when he found out and kinda stopped being so much of a dick but thats not how the story went. I know you were saying you thought it would be dumb if he just ran in the first episode like he was thinking about doing. I was actually kinda hoping he would a start over somewhere else might have been more refreshing than the writers trying to include the police team and giving them these sub stories which are uninteresting. I was always into the show for Dexter the side shit can just be so dull at times

2020-06-18 23:55:30 +0000 UTCHmm, not a fan of Dexter actually telling someone he barely knows that he could trust his actual name. Should've said Quinn for hilarity's sake. Things got more interesting this episode for sure but I'm not a fan of the Angel/Maria, Quinn/Deb, or Quinn/Dexter stuff. The Lumen storyline is interesting but I think for it to be in line with what she suffered it should have been a male TSA agent checking her especially with the real life problems with the TSA overstepping their boundaries when searching individuals. But things are pretty solid so far, I'm not sure if I made it this far initially so I guess that's progress!
