You kind of miss it cause this part goes fast but when Hopper and the deputy were at the library looking at old news articles, there was the ones with Doctor Brenner who was part of the team that experimented on people with LSD. Then another article went by where he was being sued and then another where a woman from that experiment said they stole her daughter. I assume they mean Elle and no one believes the woman. I rewound a couple times the first time I watched it to see what the articles were about otherwise I would have missed it. And poor Eleven cause Will actually was at the house somehow talking to his mom. So she was right just no one understands what she means or how it’s happening. Nancy. While she’s having sex, Barb was getting attacked. That back and forth scene is horrible. And then Nancy realizes that Barb is missing. The messed up part is Barb didn’t want to go to that party and then Nancy left her alone. It looks like the blood attracted the monster and Barb wouldn’t have been bleeding if they didn’t get her to do that stupid beer thing when she cut herself. It’s all a mess. Both Mike and Nancy’s best friends are missing now. Barb’s mother has no idea where her child is and between the lights and the creature coming out the wall, Joyce doesn’t know what the hell is happening. Good reaction. On to the next episode.
