2020-12-15 14:45:55 +0000 UTCJoey is just an addict who was relapsing. Nothing supernatural about her. She just stole Luke’s money and bailed after he spent all night trying to help her. I love this way they play with time and expectations. When we see that Luke/Steve scene with the iPad in the first episode we assume that Luke is high. But seeing it from the other side we now know what was really going on. And yeah, I’m glad that you eventually figured out that he was cold and stiff because Nell had died. They dropped the “it’s a twin thing” multiple times foreshadowing that they have a connection when they can feel each other. Luke even tells of when he broke his foot that Nells foot started hurting out of nowhere and she had to ice it. I have to say that these first 4 episodes are great (and for me even better on rewatch because you catch so much more). But for me, this next episode is the one that I thought was brilliant and really sucked me in. I think episodes 5 and 6 are just about as good as a tv show can be. I love them so much. While these first 4 episodes set up all the kids, the story kicks into gear next episode. I’m really excited to see your next reaction.

You also have an honest respect for good writing/acting/directing; which this show has in spades and i love that you can hate the scary crap but still respect it for being well made.
