I knew what you most likely meant but i had to check just in case. Some people might interpret it that, yeah. I’d just clarify it by saying you’re speaking about, “a -phase-, not a sexual phase”

I think it comes across like I’m saying what Julie is saying and what I’m saying is more from the writers Perspective. They literally just put them together to an episode or two later introduce problems that will lead to a break up.

We as an audience know that she is bisexual but the show doesn’t seem to push that instead they seem to be putting Alex on the backburner and moving into a Marisa Ryan romance story which is what I was afraid of. It seems to be what they do with Marissa. They throw so much big things at her character that everything seems like it’s just a phase with her. Like the writers don’t really have a plan for her in the long run.

2020-12-15 13:53:48 +0000 UTCIt's a fun episode but like Steven said, not much happens in this one. We get introduced to a couple new characters and spend some time with existing relationships. It's an 8 for me, but I think a low 8. It was nice to spend some time with Caleb without him acting like an ass.

I mean it was obvious, it's something that happens to everyone, the rebound, etc. I really think you are too harsh on Seth, I mean I would be a little upset as well if Summer was getting postcards and lying about it, or keeping it a secret. Excited for the rest of the season. A 9 from me.
