I had my shoulder pop out of socket when I was a Senior in High school and then several times after because of the baseball throw motion or putting my arms under my pillow. It hurts like hell and is hard to get back in. I had to have someone else help a couple times, go to the hospital and I also had to do it my self. What hurts even more than the popping out is when it is already out and pulling on it. I had to have surgery a couple times and pins put in. Luckily it hasn't happened again since in about 17, 18ish years but I don't think I ever did enough PT or working out so sometimes it's still sore. I'm always careful now though to never lift my arm that far anymore though.
