Psych "Shawn Rescues Darth Vader" 6x1 Reaction

This is one of my favourite episodes of the entire show! The polygraph moments are just the cherries on top of an already great ep. Next one is fantastic too

my take on the lassie and jules thing is that yes, lassie doesn't confide in her, but she has confided in him. he might brush it off or make a snarky comment, but she is open with him about stuff. also there's the fact that there really isn't anything for lassie to confide in her about. he doesn't have a special someone to share with her. in fact, she is one of the only friends he has. she has always made an effort to be a friend to him. remember the christmas episode where he showed up at her family christmas and she grabbed his hand and yanked him inside to introduce him to everyone? she's always been a friend to him. and while he's snarky and cold a lot of the times, he genuinely feels deeply about their partnership. he's hurt that she didn't tell him about shawn, when she's told him so much in he past. and the shawn thing is a big deal. she's his partner and shawn is the little obnoxious pebble in his shoe more often than not. so he feels a little hurt and betrayed. he also has seen shawn at his most immature moments, when he's being a pain in the butt. lassie hasn't seen that shawn in capable of being that strong, loving person to jules. so he's doubtful about that and just immensely overprotective of her. the most important thing to keep in mind is that lassie does love her as a partner and a friend, even if he doesn't show it or vocalize it. jules is someone he has immense respect for and genuinely loves her and wants her to be happy. he's just sore that she left him out of the loop and doubtful that shawn is capable of being that person for her.

great reaction. pm the Lassie stuff the 1st part was Lassie brushing off what happened in the case because McNabb just asked him if it ever gets to him and he said no and than brushed it off when he was alone, than the 2nd part was him just in shock because of Jules and Shawn together because there is a difference between flirting and Shawn having a relationship with his Partner

I also had the same reaction as you to Lassie in the last episode. I couldn’t figure out why he was acting off until I read the comments & watched this episode. However I really like the small plot with the lie detector this episode & it makes sense that Lassie is protective over Juliette. I think he was just hurt that she didn’t tell him.

Lassie was just brushing off the stress of the Yin case, he had a chill like reaction probably because the adrenaline of the case was wearing down, and he started to feel it. At the end of the episode with Shawn and Jules, he was probably very surprised because honestly I never thought he put it together until he actually saw it. I never thought was anything off about the scene upon multiple views. This episode was so awesome, I was so nervous when Lassie was questioning Shawn, he really owes his dad for teaching him all those things when he was young.

Also, the musical is the one that is after season 7. However, it makes more sense if you watch the musical after episode 6 of season 7 because it was originally supposed to take place then and it makes more sense if you watch it then so hopefully you will. It’s a great musical episode either way!!!

I know what you are saying about Lassie. But I think you’re reading into it too much. The first time he gives that funny look after talking with Buzz they were just showing that even though he said the yin yang thing didn’t affect him, it did. They were showing that even Lassie was affected by the events. The second time we see him with that look is when he sees that Juliet and Shawn are together. So the two are unrelated if that makes sense.
