2020-11-27 14:44:09 +0000 UTCI mean, it was progressive at the time for the writers NOT to have referred to Alex or Marissa as “gay-“ or to imply they are “confused.” To me, they straightforwardly portrayed Alex as attracted to different genders. But also, not saying the term ‘bisexual’ is also bierasure.

And Lindsay is a smart girl when it comes to academics, but she is really emotionally stupid and insecure. I think most people would just call it being naive, but I’m annoyed by characters/people like that.

2020-11-23 11:07:33 +0000 UTCI'm 100% on your side with Sandy. But not with Seth, I mean he's still a teenager and this is still a teen drama (drama being part of the deal). But honestly, I don't think he's done something completely irredeemable. For me, I always saw it like he's made one mistake (by leaving last season) and this season he keeps paying for it (in regards to Summer). Marissa being all in with Alex at one point then being all out is annoying and meh - I really roll my eyes whenever they are on screen :)) But Julie haha she's great, I love how much she annoys you :)) in a good way but she is so fine with who she is at this point she's not even worrying how she comes off (gold digger like hahaha). Anyway, that's my ramblings for this ep. Great reaction! Oh and Lindsey, haha I laughed so much when on your reaction when she started crying cause it was exactly how I felt. :D
