I know this is kinda old. But I think Chris Argent only decided to research and ask about his uncle now because his daughter is there, and some weird stuff is happening to the werewolves, Etc... He’s a smart guy so he’s probably just thinking somethings up.

2020-12-05 03:38:42 +0000 UTCIt’s really a combination of all those things......don’t want to say any spoilers but yes for sure Deucalion original plan was to recruit Derek forcing him to kill off the members of his pack ......but the Scott and Ennius confrontation added another variable And your absolutely right the episodes in this season really were good conversation starters especially if it’s your first time watching it.........season 3b for sure was definitely one where I think I watched it twice before fully understanding what’s going on

2020-11-10 03:52:54 +0000 UTCI always thought that yes for Deucalion killing Ennis was about gaining his power and I never thought about him being the weak link now but that is a really good way to think about it, but it was also a way to get the rest of the alpha pack to really go after Scott and inadvertently Derek. I have the feeling that up until now they went after Derek and those associated with him because Deucalion wanted him and in the end something good for them might come out if it, new pack member or no more slight threats, but now one of them has been killed so the stakes are real. Really long post but these episodes bring up so many possibilities and really good discussions.

He killed Ennis because Scott was able to hold his own against him with made him look like the weakest link in the Alpha Pack and taking his powers was an added bonus so no one else would be able to take the power.......Also Scott was unaware that his eyes were red during the fight it just happened out of instinct
