Great episode. One of the best definitely. A little bit of "small world" going on with the introduction of his dad as Orion, but anyway... Great episode.

2019-12-30 22:52:21 +0000 UTCAnd I forgot to mention. I absolutely love the scene when Chuck's dad say: "Remember when I told you not to trust your handlers?".... .... "Maybe I was wrong". Considering the last thing we saw from Casey was saying that Chuck's in for a "World of pain" after tranq'ing him. The next scene where we see Casey he's behind Chuck having his back alongside Sarah while they take Chuck's dad away. Beautiful moment.

2019-12-29 22:38:22 +0000 UTCThis gets a 10 from me. When Scott Bakula was revealed as their dad it blew me away. I loved him so much in "Quantum Leap” which aired in the late 80s/early 90s. When he first sees Ellie and she says "pancakes" and runs away…then he says "oh, boy." This was a nod to "Quantum Leap" - it was what he said at the end of almost every episode. This series just keeps getting better and better. I can’t believe some of the guest stars that show up in “Chuck” - Chevy Chase, Scott Bakula, and Bruce Boxleitner (TRON himself) was introduced as Awesome’s dad earlier this season. There will be more amazing guest stars in the future. What a crazy episode. The Orion reveal ? Priceless. The song that plays at the end is called “Daddy’s Gone” by Glasvegas. Such a heartbreaking moment when they take Chuck’s dad away. I love this show so much. I’m so glad you’re reacting to it !

2019-12-29 22:22:03 +0000 UTCThis is a stonewall 10 from me. The episode doesn't have a single weak moment. The music choice and soundtrack are phenomenal (per usual). I'm really pleased you loved the episode, since so far there are two episodes that REALLY stand out if you ask me. It's the Chuck versus the Santa Clause episode and this one. I'd give both of them 10s, but neither of them are my favourite episode of the series. I'm excited for more!
