2020-01-19 15:07:20 +0000 UTCI think it was one of the few times I hate Damon really bad, because we know how impulsive he can be, I mean it's Damon, but this time with Lexi was cold minded and cruel, he wasn't take in moment and his emotions, it was just strategic. It was sad. I get that some people aren't okay with Damon and never will be, but he is very complexe and he is not just a bad guy, no one can't define him just by that like none one can't just put everyone in boxes.

He is, I think the one who has the most evolved in this show specially difficult for him because he has always up and down. Stefan is definitely more stable, and he has a great journey but no matter what he been through he stayed pretty regular in his behavior, he didn't had to evolve much.

2019-12-24 00:16:10 +0000 UTCThe episode is called 162 candles because it is Stefan's 163rd birthday but the showrunners can't count, it won't be the first time they make huge mistakes when it comes to numbers. Even Damon's biggest fans think he did a really shitty thing with Lexi. Lexi has played an important role in Stefan's life, so despite being dead, she's an important character. Great reaction, looking forward to the next one.

It doesn't matter that the blood was obtained in a safe manner if it's human blood he won't be able to handle it. The reflection thing does not apply in this universe, Lexi may be older than Stefan but that doesn't mean they met when he was a human. Caroline acting that way after Damon put her down is not because of compulsion, that's just how she really felt. Elena may not have been able to hear what Damon told Jeremy but Stefan was right there and if he heard something he didn't like he would've done something. I get that the Bonnie showing her magic thing wasn't called for but I think the scene was cute and was the light moment that was needed for this episode before the absolute tragedy that happens towards the end. For the audience (mostly those who don't worship at Damon's alter) it may be simple to just kill Damon but I think when Elena says that she's trying to save Stefan from himself she means save him the suffering he'll go through after killing Damon, because Damon is his brother and has been so for 162 years. Damon's an asshole but Stefan is bound to feel something if he actually went through with it...plus we need Damon for some plot and entertainment.
