Marissa is a very troubled character. I noted from the pilot that she drunk herself into a passing zone, that's one a very alarming sign. She wasn't really that happy with Luke but she didn't want to be alone and she needed to be loved. She has a lot of trouble coping with her feelings. To me she is very interesting character because she is so miserable inside but she also has a good heart. She has been my favorite ever since i watched the show. Of course i love Seth as well. This is just one of my fav shows of all time :) i own all the seasons.
