I hate the brief choice I made for professional over personal relationships a while back. It isn't for everyone, but I know that at the end as I look back it will be at people and relationships in my life, and any what-ifs will be with them as well. I won't care in the slightest about what job I did or didn't do, or how much money I made, as long as I got that part right and had a happy life.
