People need to have a think before they leave show suggestions! XD I liked the show as a teen, but now as an adult, it's just cringey as fuck! XD Just like the Euphoria suggestion, this is definitely the wrong show for you.

2020-11-28 14:34:22 +0000 UTCThe thing is that Vampire diaries for example was originally created for teens but we can all agree that even if there is drama there is different a plot line every season and it's not focus on teen drama. Gossip Girl however, is basically a drama show, it worked because the insane drama that there was and even if I love the show I don't think that for him in the seasons coming it will get interesting. You should stop a the first episode, it was nice but you're not gonna enjoy much the rest.

2019-11-27 05:24:51 +0000 UTCWhat can I say about this show? Well, just like PLL & Vampire Diaries it's based off a YA novel series. So the characters were pretty much originally created to appeal to tweens and young teens, hence the shallowness and stupidity. This show as well as the novels were the first to utilize the concept of cell phones to keep tabs on everybody. Remember, this was the age of Myspace and AIM on your phone. So, everyone is potentially a spy and informant reporting back to GG. This was cutting edge high tech stuff back then. I get that you're not loving most of the characters right now. But, remember how much you disliked Logan on VM in the beginning? These characters have layers. Maybe if you stick with it and see why they are how they are and how they mature you'll get to like them more. No promises though. Wow, I have a lot to say about a show I only watched a few seasons of. Maybe I'll binge once I finish Desperate Housewives.

The way it works is that people send texts and pics to GG and if it's juicy enough, it appears on the blog. Basically like TMZ for rich kids. Who GG truly is - well you'll find out (or not).

2019-11-26 18:46:09 +0000 UTCKristen Bell is only voice of Gossip Girl as a hidden identity and like PLL many characters will be shallow and self-absorbed but again very flawed. Again their both scandalous soap operas. But I think you should come back to both of them for at least one or two episodes. Personally I'm not a huge fan of teen dramas unless they fix genres like adding fantasy or mystery elements. So shows like TVD, PLL, and Buffy interest me more. P.S. That is the same actor who played Serena's brother Eric that was on Revenge as the younger brother.
