Fun fact, this was supposed to be the Janitors last episode. He was originally intended to be a figment of JD's imagination, something of a manifestation of all of his anxieties starting at the hospital. They chose to keep him on as a real character though because the actor, Neil Flynn, was so damn funny.

We didn't get to know the patient because the people who help us met the secondary character had become cold and could not be bothered.
